Amber Tamblyn, l'héroine de la serie" le monde de Joan", et Alexis bledel de "Gilmore Girls"
sont réunies sur grand écran dans "Quatre filles et un jean". Elles nous parlent de cette comédie Girly irrésistible et nous livrent leurs souvenirs de tournage.

De quoi parle "Quatre filles et un jean" ?

Amber :C'est l'hisoire de quatre amies d'enfance inséparables qui arrivent à l'a^ge adulte et doivent prendre des chemins différents.

Alexis:Et comme elles ont peur que la distance les séparent, elles décident de se partager un jean.

Amber:Chacune le garde une semaine puis l'envoie à la suivante et ainsi de suite !

Qu'est-ce qui vous a attirées dans ce film?

Amber: C'est une histoire qui met en avant l'amitié des filles et non leur rivalité. Et ça c'est important pourmoi.

Alexis:En plus, elles ont chacune une personnalité et un physique très différents ! Et le fait que ça parle de choses typiquement féminines avec beaucoup de réalisme permet aux filles de s'identifier facilement à nos personnages et à leur histoire.

Vous êtes vraiment devenues copines sur le tournage?

Amber:Oui. On est souvent sorties ensemble ! Et surtout, on avait beaucoup de respect les unes pour les autres.

Quels sont vos meilleurs souvenirs de tournages?

Alexis:Il y en a pleins ! On bavardait et rigolait tellement entre les prises que l'équipe était de nous demander de faire moins de bruit.

Mini zoom sur Amber Tamblyn

Familles d'artiste
Amber Rose Tamblyn a vu le jour le 14 mai en 1983 à Snata Monica en Californie.
Issue d'une famille d'artistes (son père est acteur, sa mère est chanteuse et son parrain n'est autre que Dean Stockwell, l'interprête de Al dans " Code Quantum")

Amber cotoie le monde du show business dès son plus jeune âge et est rapidement repéré par un agent. Elle fait alorrs ses débuts d'actrice à l' âge de 10 ans et en 1995, elle décroche son premier role dans le soap opera "General Hospital".

Roles en Série
En 2001, lorsqu'elle quitte General Hospital, Amber multiplie les castings et seretrouve alors à jouer les guest stars dans diverses séries telles que "Buffy (saison6) Boston Public (saison2), Les experts Miami (saison1) ou encore FBI portés disparus (saison1).
Et en 2002, On l'aperçoit également au cinéma dans le film d'epouvante :The Ring

Bye bye Joan

Grace à la serie" le monde de Joan", Amber est devenue une star du petit ecran. Mais apres avoir parlé a Dieu pendant deux ans, Amber a quitté "le monde de Joan", la série
ayant été annulée au bout de deux saisons faute d'audiance.
Qu'importe ! Amber reste positive et affirme : " Je préfère avoir eu la chance de jouer dans une bonne série qui n'aura duré que deux ans que dans un truc débile qui persiste pendant huit ans.

HISTOIRES INTERDITES

Assez ! De ces réalisations conventionnées, estampillées jeunesse. Assez ! De ces scenarii bâclés, écrits à l'emporte-pièce. Assez ! De ces dialogues définitifs, pétris de bons sentiments. QUATRE FILLES ET UN JEAN énerve, agace, crispe, irrite et finalement mortifie. Un moule parfait pour une mauvaise pâtisserie. Le cliché règne ici en maître incontesté et incontestable. Bridget va au Mexique ? On lui fait chanter La Bamba. Lena part en Grèce ? On l'accueille avec la musique de ZORBA LE GREC. Carmen est portoricaine ? Son père se remarie avec une gentille blonde dont la femme de ménage est... portoricaine. Tibby passe pour la rebelle de service ? Pourquoi ne pas lui adjoindre une petite fille leucémique dont le hobby favori reste de sortir de grandes phrases lyriques sur les véritables buts de l'existence ? Sous ses pseudo velléités existentielles, le film s'adresse avant tout à un public adolescent que l'on sait riche et impatient d'être soulagé d'un billet de dix euros. Attention, cependant, à ne pas jeter l'argent par les fenêtres ! QUATRE FILLES ET UN JEAN est au cinéma ce que SEPT A LA MAISON est à l'univers des séries. Une oeuvre indigente, indigeste et indésirable. Circulez, il n'y a rien à voir !

Jenna: She is very funny to be around, Amber. She's not goofing around but she's got a sarcastic twist to her, It's weird. She's very fun, down to earth and a total joy to be around. She kind of lightened it up a little when we had those serious scenes."
